Our plan is called Our Way. It explains the key principles and choices that will guide our work over the next five years. It gives us a clear direction and a shared way of working.
We will deliver Our Way through a new operating model. This model brings together commissioning, continuous improvement, and service development so that we can work in a more joined‑up and effective way.
The plan covers everyone who lives in our area, at every age. It includes all the organisations that provide health and care. This means NHS services, primary care, community and mental health services, voluntary and community groups, and local councils. It also reflects our role as commissioners and our responsibility to use public money wisely for the whole population.
By setting clear priorities and expectations, Our Way gives us a framework for making decisions, investing in services, improving care, and providing assurance. It is designed to help us work consistently over time, while still being flexible enough to respond to new needs, new evidence, and national guidance.
In short, this is how we will work over the next five years: we will be guided by strong principles, deliver our work with discipline, and stay focused on improving outcomes for our population.
