Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to:
- ensure that all reasonable precautions are taken to prevent or minimise the risk of fire at all CE ICB occupied premises. Ensuring appropriate emergency procedures are implemented to preserve life and minimise the impact on delivery of service, the environment, and premises, should a fire occur.
- document the management of fire safety. Post-incident response and evaluation are essential for an effective fire prevention. Effective incident investigation and review of risk assessments will help prevent further incidents.
This policy applies to all CE ICB staff, Board members, contractors, visitors and others involved in the delivery, management, or support of ICB activities whilst working from ICB premises.
