As Director for Neighbourhood Health and Partnerships for Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes, Maria leads work with place-based partnerships for this area. Her role is to make sure that services are designed and delivered to meet local needs by collaborating with local health and care organisations and other key partner organisations.
She joined the ICB from Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keyes ICB. She has previously worked in local government and in executive and non-executive roles in a range of NHS Trusts and commissioning organisations, including NHS Direct, Milton Keynes University Hospital, Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust, and local Clinical Commissioning Groups.
She is skilled in governance, strategy, planning, commissioning, communications and transformation across primary care, community, mental health and acute services and has experience of working with the education and voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors.
