Vitor joined Central East ICB from the financial services industry to chair the Audit and Risk Committee whose purpose is to provide independent assurance on governance, risk management, internal control and financial reporting.
He has previously chaired the board of a financial services company and is a trustee treasurer of a charity – roles demanding integrity, transparency, accountability and a strong focus on corporate governance of the highest standards.
A qualified Chartered Accountant (SA), he spent 6 years in external audit and brings decades of experience in a complex and highly regulated sector, supporting boards in formulating and implementing strategy, assessing and monitoring strategic risks and steering transformational agendas.
