Safeguarding means protecting people’s health, wellbeing and human rights, and enabling them to live free from harm, abuse and neglect. This is a key duty for Central East Integrated Care Board.

Our role in medicines utilisation is to provide assurance that medicines which are prescribed across the system are safe, evidence-based, and clinically appropriate.

Building a first-class capability in data, intelligence, health economics, and evaluation underpins our work.
