ENT – Septoplasty Rhinoplasty Septorhinoplasty
Septoplasty, rhinoplasty and septorhinoplasty are surgical procedures performed on the nose. They may involve correcting the nasal septum, changing the shape of the nose, or combining both procedures. There is currently no harmonised Central East ICB clinical policy. ENT – Obstructive Sleep Apnoea- Referral for Surgery
Obstructive sleep apnoea is a condition where breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep due to blockage of the airway. There is currently no harmonised Central East ICB clinical policy. Local area policies transferred to Central East ICB are available where these exist.

ENT – Grommet Insertion in Children
Grommet insertion in children is a procedure where small tubes are placed in the eardrum to help ventilate the middle ear. There is currently no harmonised Central East ICB clinical policy. Local area policies transferred to Central East ICB are available where these exist.

Devices – Lycra Dynamic Splinting

Dermatology – Botulinum Toxin for Hyperhidrosis

Hair bearing skin on mucosal cavities or part of treatment for pilonidal sinuses to reduce recurrence
Hair-bearing skin on mucosal cavities refers to hair growth in areas normally lined by moist tissue, and hair removal may also be used as part of the management of pilonidal sinus disease to help reduce recurrence. There is currently no harmonised Central East ICB clinical policy. Local area policies transferred to Central East ICB are available where these exist.
