Central East ICB Primary Care delegation agreement

Delegation Agreement between NHS England and NHS Central East ICB in respect of Primary Care medical, dental, ophthalmic and pharmacy services.

In line with its statutory powers under the NHS Act, NHS England has delegated commissioning of the following primary care services to Central East ICB:

  • Primary medical services;
  • Primary dental services and prescribed dental services;
  • Primary ophthalmic services;
  • Pharmaceutical services and local pharmaceutical services.

This Agreement sets out the terms that apply to the exercise of these Delegated Functions
by the ICB and the Parties’ associated responsibilities and measures required to ensure the effective and efficient exercise of the Delegated Functions and Reserved Functions.
